Russian artist. He studied at the Art school in Rostov-on-don. He graduated from Moscow art Institute named after V.I. Surikov in 1964. Lived and worked in Rostov-on-don. A member of Artists’ Union of the USSR (1968-1977). He taught at the graphic art faculty of State Pedagogical University of Russia (1990-1999). Chernousenko's works were exhibited at the USSR and abroad; he was also a co-creator N. V. Ovechkin in their joint work — panorama "Pleven epic" (1977)

The painting is signed verso and also bears inscriptions in Russian and English.
