"New Year Eve is coming" is a part of the series "Moscow of our childhood" 1989, Oil on Canvas,  40x80 cm, signed in front (the lower left corner) and bears inscriptions in Russia verso. The work is by Anna Georgievna Vilenskaya (b.1968) - Moscow born Russian oil painter. Anna studied at Moscow Art and Technology College named after M.Kalinin. In 1989 and 1990 she had art trips to Bulgaria. Partcipated in a number of Young artists exhibtions both in Moscow and Sofia. Since 1992 began to take part in Russian art exhibitions in Germany. Vilenskaya continued her professional trainig under tutelage of such important artists of older generation as Alexey Gritsai, Yuri Kugach, Nikilai Solomin. Anna is a member of the Union of Russian Artists, she is also a member of "Moskvarechie" group.  Anna took part at art exhibitions in Madrid (1997), London (1998, 2000), "Key contemporary Artists" (Beiging) (2006). Anna's personal shows took place  in 2000 in Berlin (Rissian Embassy), at Hannover EXPO, Book Art Fair at Frankfurt/Main (2000), at Folkwang Museum, Essen (2001), at Springville State art Museum (Utah, USA).  Vilenskaya's works preserved at a number of private art collections in  Russia, USA, China, Canada,  Japan, Great Britain,  Switzerland, France, Luxeburg, Austria, Greece, Bulgaria.
