Recognized artist of Urals region. Master of landscape.
Graduated from Sverdlovsk art college named after I.D. Shadr (1945), and after that - Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (1951). His teachers were Y.P. Kugan and V.V. Pochitalov.
Lived and worked in Sverdlovsk.
Participant of exhibitions since 1951.
Author of thematic canvas “Singer of the Ural” (1952), “Ural masters (The Urals Past)” (1957), “Visitors to V.I. Lenin”.
Taught painting in the Sverdlovsk Art College and in Sverdlovsk Architecture Institute. Personal exhibitions of A. Zausaev took place in 1962 in Sverdlovsk, Kharkov, Kursk, Yaroslavl, in 1963 in Moscow, Kujbyshev, Kaliningrad, in 1971 in Sverdlovsk. His pictures are at the Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts, Nixhni Tagil State Museum of Fine Arts, the United Museum of the Ural Writers in Ekaterinburg, Smolensk Regional Museum of Fine and Applied Arts named after S.T. Konenkov, Astrakhan State Art Gallery

Bright and Impressionist bouquet of peonies and tulips in a white vase. Signed lower left and bears the artist's pencil inscription in Russian verso "Flowers Peonies and Tulips 1980 70x50 ". It is beautifully framed into a wide wooden frame with a gold finish and diagonal stripes pattern. Size in frame 79x62 cm. Comes with the certificate of authenticity from Leonid Shishkin Gallery.
