A well-known Russian landscape artist. A member of Saint Petersburg Union of Artists since 1957. In 1938 he entered the Leningrad Secondary Art School at the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after I. E. Repin. Participant of the WWII. Studied at the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after I. E. Repin (1948-1954) under Mylnikov and Oreshnikov. Participant of exhibitions since 1954. His works are presented in the collections of state museums, galleries and private collections in Russia, Australia, Germany, Finland, France and America.
